Why, hello there, stranger.

I haven't written a journal on here since *checks last journal entry* November of last year?! WTH!! What's with me?!

(Actually, I've been on here, I'm just too lazy to write anything )

Anyways, along with that note, I suppose this means I'm to tell you all what's been down.

Also: MERRY CHRISTMAS/HAPPY NEW YEAR! I'm late, yeah, I know, but whatever. I didn't have the interwebs. So sue me ::

ANYWAYS, back onto the main topic. I'm back at USF (University of St. Francis) after a scare that I wouldn't be coming back. I'm on academic probation since I was a loser last spring, but I'm just glad I'm still here. The whole thing started last spring when my GPA dropped REDICULOUSLY low, like, less that 1.0 low. So I'm on probation, which I was expecting. I was on a credit limit this last semester (only 12 credit hours, WOOO!!), and had to meet weekly with a mentor in the academic program the probation was with. And I had to get a 2.5 GPA by December or I'd be on academic suspension. And I wouldn't have been able to come back for a full year!

That's when things got crazy. The finals roll around, and though I passed all my classes (Spanish was an 'almost' fail), my GPA was only 1.3. So all winter break I was freaking out thinking that I wouldn't be able to come back. With help from my mom, I came to terms with the fact that I may not come back, but I'll just have to work my butt off to be accepted again. When the offices were open, I went to see if I was suspended or not. I wasn't (obviously), and I was almost numb with happiness. Apparently, the people in charge of all this bizzness saw some improvement on my part. I figure, since my GPA in the spring was so low, ANY improvement was big improvement. My GPA still sucked, but it sucked less than in the spring. So, I'm back!!

I'm still on probation, but that's no biggy. 12 credit hours again, and things are going well. 3 of my 4 classes are repeats (from the spring), so I'm prepared.

Let's see...oh! I'm so stoked!! I decided to lay to rest my old digital tablet (I've had this thing for almost 5 years...and it wasn't even Wacom) and buy a Bamboo Fun tablet. I'm pretty happy with my choice, and since I couldn't afford anything else

Non the less, I decided to buy it from Amazon.com, and I'm so happy! I looked around at other places where I could buy it, and from what I saw, I saved about $30 buying from Amazon than if I'd bought it from Wacom.com. But I'd wish I'd bought it on Monday of last week...I'd of had it by now. But I have to wait two or so more days. I'm fine with that, so long as I know when it's to be here.

(Wow, this journal is really long...) Oh, and I'm single again, I don't know if I mentioned that the last I was on here. Maybe I did. Meh.

Um......yeah, I'm running out of steam and things to say. I have an orthodontist appointment today, and then Spanish. Then 3D, which I'm going to fail given that I suck at 3D and that I didn't finish (or do) my project that I woke up oh-so-early for. That's why I'm a Studio Art major.

Ah, I'm just too wired to write anything else. I will make time to upload some art here (I mostly put it on my Facebook), and I'll update more often seeing as I upgraded to a 3-month subscription.
